The world hasn't ended, At least Not yet!

Its 24 Hours later May 22, 2011 and the world is in the same condition it was at 6:00 PM yesterday may 21, 2011, minus the drizzles of rain that fell from the sky in the evening. According to Harold Camping and his loyal followers the world was supposed to end yesterday at 6:00 PM, for non believers in God, as for the adamant believers, they would be lifted off to heaven. But the world didn't end.

Many people have given up their children, homes, life savings, jobs and cars because they feared the world was going to end. In the bible it states that no one will know the exact time or day of the world ending. But yet, no one listened and many have fallen victim to Harold Campings' Rapture rant. If the world was going to end, surely it would have by now, I mean it can't get any worse, can it?

Poverty is still high, the recession is getting worse, homelessness is still in effect and gas is going up. Isn't the world already at its worse? Hasn't it ended in a way? Hasn't prosperity been a thing of the past? What is the world coming to today, when people believe a man, who was once wrong in the past about the world coming to an end? After all, Harold Camping was once wrong in the past, saying the world would come to an end, and this time is no different, in another few years, if he's still alive, it won't be any different either.

I personally didn't believe any of what Harold Camping said, although it did make me think about how much time I actually have in this world. People on social networks feel the same way, updating every few seconds about the world ending. I find it hard to believe Camping didn't convert more believers that kept their thoughts of the world ending hidden and I also find it hard to believe that people didn't have a small doubt in their head that maybe, the world might end. Given the state the world is in now, I also doubt this won't happen again.
